Day 02 – Berlin

After breakfast, enjoy a Hop-on Hop-off City Circle Tour of Berlin City, which includes visits to 15 different landmarks across the city. Berlin is a city that pulsates with the vibrant energy a city that has overcome all the odds to become a major cosmopolitan city of its own right. Impressions from the past – the Holocaust and World Wars, the Cold War with its Berlin Wall and the German Reunification have only made it stronger and livelier. Add to it the cultural riches and its rich architectural heritage and you have a city that simply rocks. Some sights you should not miss include the Reichstag, the seat of German Parliament, which is renowned for its architecture, especially the glass dome that offers a panoramic view over Berlin (entrance fee not included). Overnight in Berlin.

Day 03 – Berlin

Today, after breakfast, we will visit the residence of the former German Emperor: the Charlottenburg Palace and Park. This late 17th Century palace is the largest palace in Berlin and includes within its premises a mausoleum, a theatre, a belvedere and a pavilion in addition to a large formal garden. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous KaDeWe, Europe’s largest department store that stocks over 1800 brands of international designer labels. Shop to your heart’s content and unwind with a snack/meal and a drink at the international food hall on the top floor. Overnight in Berlin.

Day 04 – Berlin – Dresden

After breakfast, we will proceed to Dresden for the next leg of our tour (approx. 200 kilometres). On arrival, we will check-in at the hotel and proceed to explore the city with a short city tour. Overnight in Dresden.

Day 05 – Dresden

After breakfast, we will visit the Dresden Castle for a tour of the Green Vaults – two unique historic museums with the largest collection of treasures in Europe. The Historic Green Vault presents the museum and its treasures as it was in 1733 with treasures exhibited in front of ornate mirrored display walls. The New Green Vault, on the other hand, is a newer addition and exhibits treasures in neutral rooms, so the entire focus is on the treasure alone. After the tour, you can enjoy your free time in Dresden and explore the city on your own; visit the Semper Opera, the old master picture gallery; or make an excursion to the well known porcelain manufactory in Meissen. Overnight in Dresden..
